Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah to end..

Well, it looks as though the final nail has been pinned into the future of Sony's Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah, produced by Swastik Pictures!! After the buzz of the main protagonist Archana Taide being replaced, here comes the news that the show in itself is all set to go off air on September 2nd..

Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah has only 16 more episodes to go before it winds up. Also, the coming episodes will see the entry of Gautam Rode as the new guy opposite Anmol.

Our source informs us, "The contract of the show ends on September 2nd and the channel has not renewed the contract. The channel feels that they have given enough to the show, and are all set to wrap it up as a result of very poor TRPs. The show will end with Anmol getting successful in exposing her chacha Kalicharan (Varun Badola)".

Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah started with a lot of promise on June 1st, and managed to have a run of just three months.

When contacted, Producer Siddharth Tewary confirmed the news and said, "Yes, it is going off air. The show did not work and we decided to end it".

We tried contacting Ajay Bhalwankar, Programing Head, Sony TV but he remained unavailable.
