Love at Campus for Sarwat

Sarwat Gilani who plays the lead role of Haniya (aka Honey) in Zindagi's new show Meri Jaan Hai Tu is wooing the audience with her flawless acting. While the audience is mesmerized by the chemistry between Haniya and Ibad (played by Adeel Hussain), little do they know that Sarwat's real life love story mirrors that of her character Haniya's.

In the show, Haniya and Ibad enroll in the same University and an impassioned love story blossoms on the college campus. Similarly in her real life, Sarwat met her husband Fahad at their College campus, where she was acquiring a degree in Communication Design and he was studying to become a surgeon. Years later, the couple fated to be together, are blissfully married. 


Meri Jaan Hai Tu traces the story of a happy-go-lucky-girl, Haniya, a second generation immigrant in USA and the ideal guy, Ibad, who migrates to the United States to pursue his education. Destined to be together, Haniya and Ibad enroll in the same University and an impassioned love blossoms on the college campus. The journey of Haniya & Ibad narrates the tale of how love is boundless and so is the experience of those who seek it.
