Life in pandemic was dull and ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2’ came as a blessing to me: Utkarsh Gupta

Sony TV has rolled out the second installment of cult show ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2’. The first season had actors like Sakshi Tanwar, Ram Kapoor, Mahesh Shetty, Sumona Chakroborty among others. Even since the news came out about the show coming back with season 2, fans and viewers were left extremely excited. Well, it has been a while that the show is on-air. Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar essay the lead roles of Ram and Priya in the show. The show has stellar star cast and people are loving the project.

India Forums got in touch with actor Utkarsh Gupta who plays the role of Kunal in the show. We asked the handsome lad about bagging the show. Utkarsh said, “Well, I was completely elated to have bagged the show. It is produced by one of the most renowned production houses- Balaji Telefilms which adds to the excitement. I belong to a middle-class family wherein television is widely viewed. My family catches up with a lot of shows and watching me in one of the biggest shows has left them proud of me. I want to thank the makers, producers and the channel for the opportunity”.

He added, “The pandemic has left us all dull and with a bad taste. I was desperately looking for a good opportunity. I’d auditioned for many shows but didn’t expect to bag a prestigious show like ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2’. The feeling of getting to work again is unexplainable. When I got finalized, I was beaming with joy. I didn’t even start shooting but there was a rush of happiness and smile on the face just with the thought of getting back on a television set”.

Talking about his character in the show, Utkarsh said, "Well Kunal is very simple, sorted and cute guy. We're a gang of four in the show- Adi, Ram, Vikrant and Kunal. All the boys have different personalities. Kunal is shy when it comes to speaking to girls. He has a lot to his personality which the viewers would witness in upcoming episodes".
