Lecoanet Hemant forays into denim wear

New Delhi, Dec 13 (IANS) Indo-French label Lecoanet Hemant, popular for their ready-to-wear collection, is stepping into denim wear line with their collection titled "Genes".

"'Genes', as it is called has been reworked around the most liked Lecoanet Hemant pieces. It is an international Indian urban line for the young and not so young as well," Hemant told IANS.

The collection will be launched at the opening of the brand's first pop-up store here, Saturday.

It will be a mix of vintage and modern jeans in varied hues.

"It is a modern line that could be worn anywhere around the world. The colours are the trend colours of the season that were chosen by opposition e.g. cement opposes militant khaki, metallic grey plays with raw blue and all of these in contrast with neon brights. For women. there is a flowery unexpected print in a brown shade with an opposition of coral," added the designer.

The price range of the collection starts from Rs.2,000 and goes up to Rs.5,000.

The pop-up store will also house a new range of Indi-Polo t-shirts along with digital print and graphic t-Shirts in different colours and styles along with accessories to complete the denim look.
