Anupamaa: Anupama is shattered and vows never to wear ghungroos, while Rahi dares to dream again

Star Plus' Anupamaa has taken a dramatic turn, with the story now split between Anupama's quiet life in Mumbai and the shifting dynamics of the Kothari and Shah families in her absence. After Aryan's tragic death due to a drug overdose, Anupama is blamed for hiding the truth, leading both the Kotharis and Shahs to sever ties with her. Heartbroken and shattered, Anupama starts afresh in Mumbai, where her life now revolves around two young girls.

A short leap shows a more silent and emotionally vulnerable Anupama, still haunted by her past. Meanwhile, major changes are seen in the Kothari and Shah households. Mahi is now seen wearing sarees, looking more confident, and is appreciated by everyone, especially Khayti in the Kothari house.

On the other hand, Rahi is constantly criticised by Khayti and the rest of the family. While Rahi takes care of the household responsibilities, Mahi goes to work with Prem. However, it's clear that Mahi still feels jealous seeing the bond between Rahi and Prem. Over at the Shah house, Prarthna is seen forming a close bond with Ansh, and it appears that Raja may have married Ishani, adding another twist to the ongoing drama.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Anupama is seen travelling in a Mumbai local train, quietly packing leafy greens into her tiffin box. Suddenly, she hears the sound of ghungroos, which instantly triggers her past. A young girl in classical dance attire is practising nearby. Once passionate about dance and the sound of ghungroos, Anupama is now fearful, remembering the moment she had lost control and danced in front of strangers. The memory brings tears to her eyes.

Meanwhile, Parag surprises Rahi with a newspaper clipping featuring a dance advertisement. He reminds her of her dream to open a dance class and encourages her to stay strong and follow her dreams. His words give Rahi the strength to believe in herself again.

Back in Mumbai, the sound of ghungroos troubles Anupama so much that she covers her ears and tells herself to let go of what's already lost, vowing never to wear ghungroos again. On the other hand, inspired by Parag's support, Rahi opens her box of ghungroos and smiles, ready to embrace her dream.
