A few important updates that we have received since morning from the Dubai Police Forensic Department:
Tuesday, 9:40 AM (UAE Standard Time):
Boney Kapoor along with his family members and the Indian Consulate officials were waiting to receive a clearance letter from the Dubai Public Prosecution.
While speaking to Khaleej Times, Indian Consulate officials assured that the Dubai Police were following their usual protocol and not delaying the process.
Before closing the case and handing the body over to the family, they need to be 100 per cent sure about no foul play involved in her demise. They are leaving no stone unturned keeping in mind the highly sensitive nature of the case.
Tuesday, 8:30 AM (UAE Standard Time):
Third day after Sridevi's death and her body is still in the Dubai mortuary, the Dubai Public Prosecutor officers have said that they need more clarity before shifting the body to the embalming unit in Muhaisna.
