Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar is finally home after being in the hospital for almost 28 days. Mangeshkar, as we know was admitted in the hospital in Breach Candy on November 11th after she complained about having difficulty to breathe. In an initial couple of weeks, there were constant updated about how she was recovering but was still critical at one point and in the ICU.
However, her fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as Mangeshkar is back home but also mentioned through her Twitter handle that she has been detected with pneumonia. In the same post, she further thanked her well-wishers for their prayers and blessings along with clarifying that her long stay in the hospital was due to doctor's advice.
Her Tweet read, “For the past 28 days, I was at Breach Candy hospital. I was diagnosed with pneumonia. The doctors preferred that I extend my stay in hospital and go home when completely healthy. Today, I am back home with the blessings of Mai and Baba I have my deepest gratitude to all my well wishers all over. Your prayers and good wishes have worked and I humbly bow down to each one of you.”Paying her gratitude towards the doctors, she regarded them as her guardian angels. In conversation with news agency PTI, she said, “My doctors at Breach Candy have been my guardian angels and I stand in eternal gratitude to each one of them. The nursing staff has been exceptional. Your endless love and blessings are precious.”
We wish she continues to recover even better and is in the pink of health soon.
