Lakshmi Ghar Aayi's Simran Pareenja gets injured, says 'Getting injured I believe is a part and parcel'

Sometimes, the show really must go on. Actors may play larger-than-life characters on screen, after all, they are human beings and sometimes get the short end of the stick when it comes to on-set injuries. Such was a challenge faced by Star Bharat’s upcoming new show Lakshmi Ghar Aayi's lead actress Simran Pareenja. During the filming of the fight sequence for the initial episodes, the actress revealed that she hurt herself. The shot comprised of shooting a riot scene where Simran had to fall/tumble but in return, she ended up hurting herself. 

When spoken to Simran on the same she said, “Getting injured I believe is a part and parcel of acting. It was unfortunate that I tripped and fell badly and ended up hurting myself. We were shooting with difficult props around us and there was an enactment of a riot, I got so involved in the character that I didn’t even realize when I fell. Everyone on the sets came to my rescue and helped me. It feels great to know people are there to protect you when you are hurt, it’s like shooting with the family.” 

Fans were relieved to know that the injury was minor and there was not much to worry about. The show is slated to go on air starting 5th July, 2021.
