'Kya umar aur samajh hai?': TMKOC producer Asit Modi calls Palak Sindhwani INDISCIPLINE

Palak Sindhwani, who essayed the character of Sonu in SAB TV’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ was ousted from the show a few months ago by the makers of the show. While the makers of the show accused the actress of ‘breaching the contract,’ the actress also hit back at the makers and made some shocking revelations.

Now, in a recent interaction with News 18 Show sha, producer Asit Modi was asked about the actress’s ouster once again. Reacting to the same, Modi called the actress ‘indiscipline.’ He stated that the audience recognises actors not by their real names but by their characters and that the actors should not indulge into unnecessary brand endorsements.

Modi says, “People know you because of your character, whether it is Palak or somebody else. Abdul’s real name is Sharad, but people call him Abdul Bhai. Artists are known by their characters' names. We have positive characters. We have loving characters. If somebody advertises anything, it will impact our show’s image. Everyone works within a contract. I also have to work within a limit. You cannot break your contract.”

“Jab voh kuch bhi bol dete hai toh bura lagta hai. But unki umar kya? Kya samajh hai unko? Bolne do. Baat mein koi aisa dum nahi hai,” the producer further adds.

Opening up about the reason Palak was ousted from the show, Asit Modi says, “Everyone has to work in a discipline. I am also making a show for Sab TV. I also work with dignity. I have a contract with them. Similarly, artists also have contracts with me. We have to make 26 episodes every month. There has to be a discipline. It can’t depend on your mood. Everyone is working. This is one of the reasons.”
