“Kya Haal, Mr Paanchal” fame Sejal Gupta on Dhanteras

Actress Sejal Gupta, who is popularly known for her acting in the television show “Kya Haal, Mr Paanchal” The model turned actress talks about celebrating Diwali.

She said, "I'm blessed to belong from India, as the country is a tantamount of fervor, zeal, and emotions. The zest to celebrate festivals with a heart warming enthusiasm and eagerness runs in our blood. Diwali, a festival of lights is widely recognized and celebrated by everyone. And I feel that is the essence of a festival unites families, relatives, friends and members of all castes and creed. People forget their differences, worries of the humdrum lives and join in the celebrations and festivities. I enjoy celebrating the festival."

She continued, "The festival symbolises the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. The festival celebrates the country's cultural heritage. During this time, we worship our almighty who helps us immerse ourselves in traditions and awakens spiritually."

Sejal feels Diwali reminds us brotherhood and spread happiness. She added, "The festival is also an auspicious time for us, bringing luck and prosperity. Thus, it marks new beginnings for us and we consider it as the best time to start new ventures. It also boosts a sense of community as people decorate their homes with diyas, candles and colourful lights, eat delicious sweets, exchange gifts, follow rituals passed down by generations and perform charity."

Talking about her celebrations she shared, "Diwali for me is a family time. I enjoy buying jewellery for my mom every year on Dhanteras from my saving. Throughout the year I save some ammount for this day. I'm looking forward celebrating Diwali with my friends and family. I wish the brightness of Diwali fill our days with new hope and endless possibilities. Wishing everyone a beautiful and blessed Diwali."

Sejal who previously was crowned the winner of India’s biggest teen beauty pageant – Miss Teen Diva 2022, wants to become Miss World. She made her Bollywood debut in Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and is currently seen in the film Jo Tera Hai Woh Mera Hai, directed by Raj Trivedi starring Amit Sial, Sonali Kulkarni and Paresh Rawal.

She has also featured in films like “Sukhee”, “Peshawar” and “Kun Faya Kun” among many others.
