KWK7: Maheep Kapoor reveals about living through eroding fame, says money was tight

As a brand-new trio joins the couch for the twelfth episode of Hotstar Specials Koffee With Karan Season 7. The trio is all set to brew some steamy conversations about their personal and professional lives. Gauri Khan will be gracing the couch after 17 years and will be joined by  Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey, who are close friends of hers. Maheep and Bhavana have currently been in the headlines as the 2nd season of their reality show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Lives have been streaming on Netflix and garnering a lot of appreciation from the audiences. 

The three women discuss Bollywood celebrations and airport outfits while maintaining an edge of realism, hilarity, and charm.

Fame does not last forever and no one knows this better than celebrities. Maheep Kapoor, wife of Sanjay Kapoor has been a witness to this. She and her family had to live through the ordeal of eroding fame. She captured the experience in the latest episode, 

“There were times when Sanjay was sitting at home for years with no work. Money was tight. My kids have grown up seeing that along with the glamour and glitz.” 

Being part of one of Bollywood’s biggest families also did not make life any easier, “The people around me at times did make me feel like we were the unsuccessful wing of the Kapoor family,” she added.

Koffee With Karan Season 7's 12th episode will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on Thursday.
