Kushal Tandon in suffering a loss of Rs 20-25 lakhs in damage to his restaurant

Actor Kushal Tandon in involved in multiple businesses as well and of them is owning a restaurant. However, the actor's restaurant suffered a severe loss owing to the damage caused to it because of the heavy rainfall in Mumbai (July 21).

In a conversation with ETimes TV, Tandon was first asked as to how so much damage happened as the rains weren't that heavy, he said, "Well yes, it wasn't so heavy. In fact, we had stronger rain last year and even this year before yesterday - but I think the extra breeze that was blowing yesterday played havoc."

He added that the loss is of Rs 20-25 lakhs and the restaurant didn't have insurance. 

When asked when is he going to be putting it to it's original state, he said, "It was made with lots of love. I had called people from France to get a special cloth material to do it. It's a 6,000 sq feet place. So of course it won't be easy. But I am not going to wait. I'll get it rectified soonest."
