Kundali Bhagya's Dheeraj Dhoopar: Irrespective of the fact that a show runs long, every episode is like new

Dheeraj Dhoopar aka Karan Luthra from Kundali Bhagya has been going places with all the work he has been doing so far, especially with the show, which is one of the longest running daily soaps on Indian television. The actor, credits wife Vinny for all the compliments he keeps receiving for his fashion and believes that she is like his creative director, and is completely involved and is very proud of her.

Dheeraj truly believes in her and has only nice things to say about his partner and her support. He says, “She is my backbone, and I need her for everything, from the smallest to biggest decisions. She has the final say in all my choices, including that of my career. Even my team takes her advice.”

Dheeraj believes that despite all the time that has passed by with his show, there is not sense of being tired or worn out and that he is enjoying how his career is panning out. He told TOI, ''Irrespective of the fact that a show runs for long, every episode is like new for me. To say that I have portrayed an emotion earlier, hence cannot repeat it effectively, is incorrect. As an actor, I don’t think about things much. I just go and perform and I am quite happy the way my career is panning out.''

He also spoke about how he was excited for his Punjabi film debut last year but the second wave of the COVID-19 happened. The actor mentioned how he wants to do every kind of film but would start with a commercial entertainer and when he switches to films, it won't be for the heck of it, and it will be for content based cinema. The actor believes that he has reached that level in his career where he can dictate his choices.
