Kunal Verma back on TV

Kunal Verma will don a new avatar for Cinevistaa’s and Sony TV’s upcoming show...

Kunal Verma, who came into the limelight with Balaji Telefilms' Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna, is back on television, yet again. Earlier, it was buzzed that Kunal will be playing the lead in one of Rajan Shahi's forthcoming projects, but that was not to be.

The latest is that, Kunal has apparently been finalized to play one of the leads in Cinevistaa's upcoming love cum thriller story on Sony.

Tellybuzz had earlier reported that, Karan Hukku and a new face Priyanka Chopra has been signed to play leads. A new face Vikram, was earlier finalized to play negative lead in the show.

However, we hear that the production house was not convinced with the look of Vikram and opted for a change.

Our source informs us, "Kunal Verma has been finalized to play negative lead, and he will play a role similar to Shahrukh Khan's movie Darr. The actor is very soon leaving for Manali, to start his shoot."

If sources are to be believed, the main girl Priyanka Chopra too has been replaced. The channel and production house are looking for a good option to play the female lead.

We tried contacting Kunal Verma and even sent him a text message but he remained unbelievable.

We could not get through the producer Siddarth Malhotra too.
