Krutika Desai and Tanya Abrol board Palampur Express..

We had recently reported that Sony's Palampur Express will see Pooja Kanwal going out, and Akangsha Rawat replacing her as the new lead of the show. The story which has now moved from Palampur to Mumbai will have a new look to it, with many more new characters making their entry.

According to our source, "Pavni who is in Mumbai will now join a Sports Academy to enhance her athletic skills and become a professional runner. With this will begin a new phase in the show which will revolve around the college life of Pavni".

"Seasoned actress Krutika Desai will play the Principal of the Sports Academy, and she begins her shoot from today", informs our source.

Krutika confirmed the news and said, "I play the Principal of the Sports Academy, Ila Singh. An athlete in the past, she has won many medals in the Commonwealth Games. She is a strict and arrogant lady who does not even mind stamping on others to move forward".

As per our source, "There will be few known names entering the show as the authorities and teachers in the college. Also, there will be shown a group of nearly six students, of which few will be friends with Pavni, while few go against her".

"Tanya Abrol, who essayed the role of the Sardarni Balbir Kaur in Chak De has also been finalized to play one of the friends of Pavni. Coincidentally, Tanya will again be seen as a hockey player in the show", further informs our source.
