Comedian-actor Krushna Abhishek has come to the defense of Samay Raina amidst the controversy surrounding India's Got Talent. He believes Raina has a unique audience and makes jokes "innocently." Krushna also expressed interest in appearing on Raina's show, revealing that he was previously invited but couldn't participate due to health concerns.
The good part about his roasts is that he still respects everyone. He is a very good human being. He will come on our show and I was going to go for India’s Got Latent but I couldn’t make it earlier as I was unwell. He had invited me. I love his show, it is good. Gaali Galoch, theek hai bhai. He has his different audience, he does it all innocently and people don’t take offence. I want to go on his show, hopefully if it happens, I will be there as a guest

Further sharing an update on TGIKS, the actor said,"The Great Indian Kapil Show is most likely to come after April. We are still shooting, it has only been launched."
The controversy began when Ranveer Allahbadia, who runs the popular YouTube channel BeerBiceps, appeared on India's Got Talent in January 2025. During the show, he asked a young contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?" This question sparked widespread outrage, with many rebuking him for the alleged vulgarity. Soon after, the video was removed from YouTube following the intervention of the I&B Ministry and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
