Krissann Barretto: Been through worse in Ace of Space, this is a piece of cake!

Actress Krissann Barretto got into a fun and candid conversation with us at India Forums where she spoke to us about her experience in Ace of Space, bond with Baseer, Salman Zaidi, Kaisi yeh Yaariyan 2 and much more...

Talking about spending her time in the lockdown, Krissann said, “I have been through worse in Ace of Space, this is a piece of cake. This is literally nothing compared to that. We have our phones, we have movies, we have our families, I have my dog.”

She also spoke about her bond with Baseer and said, “Baseer has made so much fun of me, I swear he’s like the brother I never had. He only makes fun of me, that’s all he does.”

Talking about her experience in Ace of Space and how it has helped her now, she said, “I have become such a patient person, I have learnt to deal with people so well. Believe me, I am way more patient than I used to be.”

When asked what advice she would like to give to her 18 year old self, she shared, “I don’t know, don’t go to Ace of space. There are pros and cons to everything, there were more cons obviously but there are pros also. I got my friends, I got my boyfriend, I literally got friends who are like my siblings, we know each other that well.”

Talking about her character Rangoli in ‘Tu Aashiqui’ and her bond with Jannat, Rithvik and the cast, she shared, “Rangoli Rai was one of my favourite characters. I went all out. Jannat and I, we spoke the other day only. I miss her, she is so cute, she’s adorable, she’s like a baby. I am in touch with everyone, I am friends with everyone.”

She also spoke about her experience in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan and said, “It was amazing. It was my first show so I used to watch Veebha, Ayaz, Niti, Charlie, Parth, I used to watch them giving their closes. I used to be like what are you supposed to do? Then I used to see these guys and take tips from them. I was great, I learnt a lot from them.”

When asked if she would like to do Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan 2, she mentioned, “If I am not shooting for something else, then I’ll do it for sure. Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan is my love, it’s my first show.”

A fan asked her if she would like to Participate in Nach Baliye with Salman Zaidi. To this, she replied, “Wow, Yes why not, it will be fun. Salman is a smart guy, he will be able to figure it out, if you teach him something, he will get it.”

Talking about how Salman has impacted her life, she said, “I have become way stronger than I used to be. I deal with situations very differently now. I am just happier.”
