KL Rahul hits tenth Test ton at Lord's; Athiya Shetty and brother Ahan Shetty celebrate with hearts

KL Rahul has made his tenth Test ton, 100 off 177 balls in the third Test Match between India and England at Lord’s. This is his tenth century, and his ninth in an overseas tour. KL Rahul was pure class facing Jofra Archer who bowled a spectacular spell to control the Indian batting line up. In 2021, he had made 125 runs at the same venue. Rishabh Pant and he were the stars for the Indian line-up. KL Rahul’s fans have become emotional saying that he is built differently proving his mettle when the team needs him the most. His batting was a purist’s delight as he hit the perfect side drives and pull shots.

Athiya Shetty sent hearts to him while Ahan Shetty hailed his brother-in-law. The whole stadium and dressing room at Lord’s stood up to applaud him. Indian commentators have praised KL Rahul saying that he is truly in top form. The cricketer and Athiya Shetty were blessed with a baby girl in March. We can say Evaraah Vipula Rahul has brought all the good luck for her papa. Suniel Shetty praised his son-in-law recently in a Sony Liv segment where he said that he is a true patriot.

It seems KL Rahul told him that it does not matter in which position he is playing; he just wants to be in the Indian team. Suniel Shetty said his words moved him emotionally. KL Rahul was in good form in IPL 2025 as well. After a couple of years where he battled one injury after another, the player is back in the thick of things. Rishabh Pant has also made a glorious comeback after his nightmarish stint in IPL 2025. He is scoring well in England justifying his place in the Indian cricket team.
