Successful actors are marked by how brilliantly they fit in the shoes of their character and do justice to their role. Excelling in acting is a lifelong process. Learning never ends, and as a performer means learning much more than acting. One such versatile actor is Kiran Karmarkar, who is popular for his roles in many television shows, movies and theatre.

Kiran is recently being seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s newly launched show 'Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein'. The story revolves around a hearing-impaired boy Yogi (essayed by Mudit Nayar) and his Interesting love story. In the show, Kiran essays the role of Yogi’s father, Mr Prakash who has an energetic character and is observed to be a little strict with Yogi.

Kiran Karmarkar's character is loud and high spirited. While shooting the sequences Kiran must keep his energy level high all the time and give all the scenes with the utmost energy. At times he is so engrossed in his character that even when he is not shooting, he continues to keep his tone high to maintain the mood.

Confirming the same Kiran mentions, “I am a very fun-loving and humorous person in real life and my energy on sets is always lively. Contrasting to that my character in the show is exactly the opposite. Yogi’s father is a strict personality who is mostly irritated and is always annoyed with Yogi’s routine habits. The character of Prakash Srivastav is that of a jackfruit, hard and thorny from the outside but soft from inside. Being in the acting industry for over two decades, we are trained professionals who know the art of switching between reality and television. Hence, it is imperative we maintain our on and off-screen personality. It is challenging, but I enjoy playing the character. The show’s concept is exceptionally written with amazing storyline and costars.”

It is also observed that Kiran loves humming old songs in the shoot breaks. And while on the sets he always keeps humming to old Hindi songs in his mind, which makes him feel good and calms him down.
