Kim Soo-Hyun's team sends 12 page letter after accusations made by Kim Sae-Ron's side; denies sasaeng pic

Kim Soo-Hyun’s legal team has finally replied to the statements made in the press conference held by Kim Sae-Ron’s parents with Garosero Research Institute. While they were not present in person, they were represented by their legal team. They attached the original certified letter to refute claims that they hinted that Kim Sae-Ron was affecting the Netflix show, Queen Of Tears. This second letter was the one sent on March 25, 2024. Gold Medalist said it is not possible to claim compensation for posting photos online or calling up other colleagues from the agency. She had shared a pic of Kim Soo-Hyun and her on her Instagram handle.

They claimed the second letter was a follow-up to the first one. The debt owned by Kim Sae-Ron was not collected from the actress and this was just to clear this stance. This letter was sent by Gold Medalist on March 15, 2024. Kim Soo-Hyun’s team said Sae-Ron had posted their pic on March 24, 2024 after getting the second letter.

The legal team of Kim Soo-Hyun said the second letter was to urge her to pay back the debt, and the fact that they wished to negotiate some terms. Gold Medalist said they did not force her to pay back within a stipulated period. They said the idea was to get a time period wherein she could pay back the sum that she owned to the firm. The legal team said they did not include the term that she was exempted as it would have caused tax issues. It seems they met Kim Sae-Ron’s agency on March 26 to explain the contents of the second letter.

They have shared her response that reads, “I would like to express my gratitude for the sincerity you have shown me. I will, of course, take responsibility for the damages suffered and would like to discuss the future payment plan to show my determination to take responsibility for the damages I must bear.” Gold Medalist said the entire matter with Kim Sae-Ron was settled as regards to the debt and they did not urge or negotiate any payment henceforth. They said no one from the family came forward to pay the debt.

They said the matter was under the jurisdiction of Gold Medalist and not Kim Soo-Hyun on a personal basis. They said that Garosero has distorted the report to claim that she was threatened by Gold Medalist. They apparently Kim Sae-Ron not to act impulsively after she posted the pic with Kim Soo-Hyun as it could have wider implications. The picture of Soo-Hyun and her went viral in no time.

Gold Medalist said that YouTuber Lee Jin Ho is not a part of Gold Medalist. Kim Sae-Ron left the agency in November 2022, and moved to a different place. They said Jin Ho has contact with Sae-Ron’s last agency and not Gold Medalist as it has been claimed. They said that Garosero has just distorted facts to mislead the public. Gold Medalist said they went to the wake of the actress, left wreaths and also condolence money.
