Recently filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma started the shooting of his upcoming bilingual movie 'Killing Veerappan', a true story of the deadliest man hunt ever in the history of Asian crime.

The movie stars Shivarajkumar, who will play the central role of the officer who kills Veerappan and Sandeep, an aspiring youth from National School of Drama was selected to play the role of the Sandalwood smuggler (Veerappan). Actresses Yanga Shetty and Parul Yadav also star in the film!
