Divyanka Tripathi is all set to be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi - Darr v/s Dare and while she will be seen taking on a bunch of interesting stunts, the journey has been one of its kind for not just her, but every single contestant. The actress spoke to India Forums about her journey in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, women power, managing time away from her husband Vivek Dahiya, and more.

How was the journey so far?

It has been amazing, and it is really a battleground. I used to take i very lightly, but that is what it is. And I think real life is also like that, we get scared and we don't treat them like a stunt. But while on the show, I understood how all you have to do is 'dare' to get rid of the 'darr'.

Did you abort any of the tasks?

The word abort, I did not use it throughout the seasons. We say some things very casually, abort being one of them. I never said that word and I did not want to even put it in the dictionary, and I didn't want to come under pressure and say abort. I might have been scared in a stunt or might not have done it with finesse, but I did not run away from any stunt.

Which was one task that seemed to be the most difficult?

Current was one thing that left everyone shook. The current was one thing that no one understood how to deal with it. You can learn to deal with everything, creepy crawlies, etc, even something that requires strength. But with current, the intensity is same and it doesn't change and you can't do anything about it. Your brain knows it is going to happen, so it was difficult and we knew before going that it is going to be a task.

You were away from husband Vivek, how did you keep up?

We were managing, we used to manage time as there was a 4-hour time gap. I used to call him early morning and I used to call him the moment I got to the hotel and once I call, I have to tell him about all the details. Not only what did I do, but also how did everyone do. There have been so many times when I had to explain things with diagrams in the air. Sometimes I used to be disappointed at the end of the day as well but he used to prep me up for the next day, saying that 'you are a soldier.'

There has been a lot of talk about women power and also very good bonding between all the contestants. Tell us more.

Women power was there 100%, there were many instances when the girls supported the girls and it was very fun. We also had a team and Shweta was the leader of the same, she really helped a lot. Then Maheck Chahal was there, she is a women's woman, even off-camera, she was so helpful and supportive. Sana, on the other hand, when you feel that you are not able to do something with so many girls, and she used to say how it is good to see you with all the men out there. This is a different time, there are no catfights, etc, but women supporting women has been the way to go this season, and it was good.

What would you say was your takeaway moment?

There is an amazing stunt and it was a team activity and we were hanging in the air and jumping in the water, etc, and it was a team task. You will love it, it was the moment of the season.

Whom did you get close to during your time away?

I loved being with Maheck, I loved how Shweta was, she was a powerful woman, she used to mean what she said and she used to say what was in her mind. She is a great judge of people, which I feel she has been granted by God, or because she has been in the industry for such a long time because she is that way. Varun, is an amazing person, he is a gentle child. Aastha Gill, she was such a cuite. I think she was the livewire, off-camera also, wherever she was, it was really fun. I am very happy to know her.
