Ketan Karande to feature in Akbar Birbal!

Big Magic's popular comedy - historical show Akbar Birbal is set to witness a new entry in the show.

Yes, we are talking about the sturdy and tough guy Ketan Karande who will appear on the show for two episodes. The actor was last seen in another historical show Jodha Akbar on Zee TV.

Our source informs us, "Ketan Karande will be appearing for two episodes. His character name is Suraj Bhan who is an emperor of the neighboring kingdom, he will visit the palace and will indulge into a wrestling match. He will challenge every man of the Empire to fight with him and when Birbal (Vishal Kotian) will turn up, both will end up fighting against each other where Suraj will be defeated."

When contacted Ketan, he confirmed the news saying, "Yes, I have shot for Akbar Birbal. I will be coming as Rajkumar who has to avenge from Birbal for killing his father. We both will end up fighting through a wrestling match. It was great shooting for the scene and I enjoyed my part."
