The lead actors of Kabir Khan's upcoming movie 'New York' John Abraham and Katrina Kaif are maintaining a safe distance from each other.

The two had sparked off rumours during the shoot and after the shoot of their movie 'New York'. It was beleived that the duo had quite a friendship going and Katrina was learnt to have exchanged a massive number of SMS's with her co-star.

Now, now the 2 actors are not involved in a cold war, but are just maintaining a distance from each other as they do not want the rumours to surface again.

At a recent press conference for the promotion of the movie, Katrina was seen hanging out with her other co-actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan while John was seen interacting only with the director Kabbir Khan. The two had a verbal exchange only on a couple of occassions.

Earlier Katrina had expressed to the media that John had not become the kind of friend she would have wanted to keep in touch with after the shoot of the movie.

All we can say is, a certain Sallu bhai must be happy with Kat now.
