Katrina Kaif or Sonam Kapoor, who is channelling boho-chic-athleisure style better?

The word boho, which instantly gives flashes of hippy culture belonging to the early 1960-70s is now a mainstream trend to watch out for. 

Any OOTD categorised as bohemian, conveys the free spirited lifestyle ideology, the one that adheres to feeling and looking liberated. This style is expressed with it’s fusion fashion picks like colourful printed tops, comfy bottoms, leather and trinket replete accessories, finished with embellished footwear. However, when the said footwear gets switched with sporty kicks, this style cocktail becomes essential to stand up and take stye notes off….

Here we have our favourite sartorial seer-Sonam Kapoor and B-town’s most simple fashionista-Katrina Kaif, at the airport early this morning, rocking a boho-chic-athleisure look….

Sonam Kapoor wore an Anamika Khanna ensemble, comprising of a neat white asymmetrical kurta and a pair of matching, cropped white bottoms. Adding a bohemian touch to her outfit was a printed jacket and a silver Afghany necklace. Trust Sonam to keep the chic intact in her look; she opted for a retro inspired pair of sunglasses and chose to carry her classic Hermes Birkin leather bag. Now, here's the element that gave an athleisure touch to her airport avatar- a pair of Balenciaga sock shoes. 

It looks like Sonam is literally following her husband, Anand Ahuja's footsteps since she's been sporting a pair of sneakers with just about anything. At GQ Style Awards, Sonam wore a pair of Jordans with her peach Fenty suit. 

Katrina Kaif on the other hand, had a more simple yet casual take on what we call a bohemian-meets-athleisure style. Kat wore an intricately printed top with vintage fit denims and the very classic white sports shoes. Like Sonam, Katrina too wore a pair of sunnies but was spotted sans any handbag. She too had no trace of makeup whatsoever and her hair were left side-parted loose. Katrina looked pretty as usual!
