Kartik and Naira decide to NOT have a baby; Dadi gets exposed!

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai only yesterday, completed 9 years. And the return of actor Vishal Singh who plays Naitik in the show, only made the celebration even better. While, good things are happening with the show in real life, the audience can expect lots of drama in the upcoming episodes of the show.

In the last few episodes, we saw how Dadi (Swati Chitnis) gets desperate for Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Kartik (Mohsin Khan) to conceive a boy instead of a girl child as predicted by a priest. And in attempts to make her wish come true, Dadi ends up stealing a 150 year old conch shell (shankh) from the Singhania Mansion to keep in under Naira's pillow.

Aryan (Gaurav Wadhwa) overhears Dadi's plan and decides to foil it, as he does not want Kartik and Naira to give an heir to the Goenkas and goes to take the shankh from Kartik and Naira's bedroom, when the duo walks in.

Post a confrontation with Aryan, Kartik and Dadi have a huge showdown where Kartik berates Dadi for her orthodox thinking and questions her superstitious beliefs. He then tells Dadi that he and Naira will never have a child because of his mistrust on Dadi, which hurts her.

On the other hand, Naitik,who has seen Dadi steal the shankh, informs the family about the same, which leaves them in shock. However, he requests the family members to keep this from Keerti (Mohena Singh) in order to not hurt her and embarrass her in front of her in-laws.

That is some drama to look forward to, isn't it?
