Kartik Aaryan’s Surgery to Not Interrupt his Work Commitments

An engineer turned actor, Kartik Aaryan has finally made it big in Bollywood. He made his debut in 2011 with Luv Ranjan’s romcom, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, wherein his famous monologue went viral and made him a star overnight. 

However, Kartik went on to star in films like Kaanchi, Akaash Vani, which did not result well on the box office. Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 proved to be a turning point for the actor, post which he finally gave an Rs. 100 crores grosser with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety in 2018. 

Well, the rest remains history now. After his big success in 2018, he has made his place in the list of bankable actors. He delivered two massive blockbuster hits in 2019: Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh.

After Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal co-starring Sara Ali Khan, he will be next seen in Anees Bazmee’s horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kiara Advani and Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 along with Janhvi Kapoor.

Amidst this busy schedule, Kartik injured himself during the shoot of his last film, Love Aaj Kal. He was spotted with his grey bandage, but it looks like the damage was serious and the actor had to undergo surgery. Kartik’s injury turned into a ligament tear and he was admitted to the hospital last night, in Mumbai for his surgery. 

However, his surgery does not come in between his work commitments, as he will be attending an event, that was scheduled for the same day as the day of surgery. 

“Kartik is yet again collaborating with an award show this year and the date of the press conference for the actor coincides with his surgery date. Now he didn’t want to delay the event or postpone it, as it would disrupt the entire event and also his other commitments and hence he decided to be admitted to the Hinduja hospital late last night. Today early morning he got done with his surgery and in the afternoon he will go to attend the conference from the hospital itself” Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.

Well, that says a lot about Kartik’s determination towards his work. We wish him a speedy recovery...
