Karthika Nair bags 'Leela' with Mammootty (With Image)

Malayalam actress Karthika Nair has bagged the lead role, opposite superstar Mammootty, in director Ranjith's new film "Leela".

Earlier, actress Ann Augustine was to play the female lead, but she had to opt out ahead of her engagement with cinematographer Jomon T. John.

While Mammootty's character is called Kuttiappan, Karthika will be seen as Leela.

Veteran actor Nedumudi Venu will be seen as Pillechan in the movie.
