Karanvir Sharma: Shaurya is definitely special; reality television is something I look forward to

Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani clocked in a year in December 21, 2021, and Karanvir Sharma has been absolutely grateful about his journey with the show and that role right from the start. The show might have gone off air due to low TRPs, however, it continues to occupy a special place in the hearts of fans and viewers. 

Karanvir spoke to India Forums about the love he continues to receive, his plans on returning to TV and what's ahead. 

Ask him how does it feel to continue receiving all this love from fans and he says, "The character is definitely special, it is special for many reasons that everytime I want to compare any other offer that is coming to me, I compare it to Shaurya Saberwal and it lacks at many levels. When I did this character, the makers told me that this is a one time opportunity because male protagonists don't get such offers, and won't even come. If I have done any amount of justice, for which I have received all the love from fans, I thank them for recognising the little effort that I might have done."

On what's next, he says, "Sky is the limit. I honestly don't know what kind of positioning I want this year but I definitely want to concentrate on movies and series until I get a role like Shaurya, or even this character on television."

About whether fans would see him on TV soon, he says, "They will be seeing me at a lot of award functions for sure. Reality television is something I am looking forward to, I am also looking forward to hosting and it might be soemthing that I might want to delve into."

Well, fans can hope that reality show makers are listening!
