We had reported earlier that Karan Sharma who was recently seen in Baa Bahu aur Baby will be playing the main lead in Balaji Telefilms' new show on Sony, Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai.

We had earlier reported that Karan was to play the sweet Samaritan to the three protagonists of Bayttaab, by helping them get work at his Boss' place. As the story unfolds, the guy would end up having an unconventional love affair with the middle sister, Shamoli, played by Sumana Das.
Confirming Karan's shift from Bayttaab to the other show, Vikas Goopta, Creative Head of Bayttaab says, "Yes, Karan was supposed to play the main lead in Bayttaab. But we ultimately wanted a guy with more manly looks, and Karan has more of this boyish look in him. We are still looking for such a guy, and have not found him".
Karan Sharma too accepted the fact that he is now part of Pyaar Ka Bandhan. "Yes, it is true that I was finalized for Bayttaab. But now I will be seen playing the role of Chotu aka Aziz, one of the four siblings in Pyaar Ka Bandhan".
We would like to remind our readers that Telly Buzz has given them exclusive news on the actors to play the four siblings in Pyaar Ka Bandhan which airs on Sony from Monday to Thursday at 10.30 PM.
Kritika Kamra plays Prateeksha, Mahesh Shetty essays the role of Milind, Karan Sharma plays Aziz aka Chotu and Lavanya Tripathi will be Aaraina.
The actors have had their photo shoot session done yesterday, and will start shooting for the promo very soon.
