Karan Patel says 'I don’t believe that it is a case of targeting TV industry' after Bharti-Haarsh's arrest

Comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa made it to the headlines recently when the Narcotic Control Bureau recovered ganja (cannabis) from their house in Andheri. The couple has been arrested and as has been reported by ANI, they have been sent to 14-day judicial custody, till December 4. 

Recently, Karan Patel was asked about the incident and while he did not want to comment much, he did say how he just did one reality show with her and does not know anything else about her beyond that. He also mentioned that it is their personal business and it is not something he is aware of, which is why he does not wish to comment much.

However, Karan did go on to add, ''I don’t believe that it is a case of targeting TV industry next. Let the case take its own course is all that I would like to say.”

The drug probe by NCB started after Sushant Singh Rajput's death a couple of months ago and while Rhea Chakraborty along with a few others were arrested, names of Deepika Padukone, Sanam Johar - Abigail Pande, Sara Ali Khan, among others, also came out during the due course of the investigation.
