Karan Mehra down with dengue..

Karan Mehra who is presently seen essaying the role of Karan in Star Plus' Behenein is on the path of recovery after suffering from dengue. The actor could not take an off as the track was revolving around his on screen marriage to Smriti (Shiju Kataria). He ignored his high fever, and when diagnosed he had to be immediately hospitalized and treated for dengue.

When contacted, Karan in a pale tone told us. "Yes, I was hospitalized for three days. The doctor had asked me to take rest for another 5 days. But I have resumed shoot as my character is needed. The show has to go on".

Talking about the care he has been taking on sets, Karan states "I am taking very good care of myself on sets. My co-actors are co-operative and also the production house tries their level best to finish my scenes as early as possible so that I can pack up for the day early".

Karan feels grateful to his mom, as she arrived from Delhi to take care of him when he was under the weather!!
