Online reactions have become a regular part of public life for actors, especially those with a strong digital presence. Karan Kundrra, known for his work in television and reality shows, recently shared how he deals with trolling and why certain kinds of online behavior concern him more than others.
In a conversation with ETimes TV, Karan explained that he does not get disturbed by random trolling or negative comments. He said he remains unaffected by general criticism, whether it comes from fans or the media. What does frustrate him, however, is when trolling is backed by money and carried out in an organized way.
“Trolls don't bother me. It’s the paid trolling, that’s what annoys me. I mean, when you start spending money just to put someone down, that’s where I draw the line,” he said.

He emphasized that if it came down to competing in that space, he would be able to respond at a much larger scale. “And when that happens, I feel like bhai tum paise laga rahe ho hate failane ke liye, maine agar double, triple laga diye na, just to prove a point, then they won’t be able to keep up or compete with me.”
Instead of reacting with similar behavior, Karan questioned the logic behind investing time and money into negativity. He pointed out that such energy could be better used for self-improvement and creative efforts. “Instead of investing in negativity, why not work on your talent? That’s where the real game is. It becomes personal then,” he added.

His comments reflect a clear difference in how he views ordinary online opinions versus targeted, paid campaigns. While he chooses to ignore general trolling, he sees paid efforts as something more deliberate and damaging. By speaking out, Karan has highlighted a growing concern about how online spaces are being used and what kind of behavior is being encouraged and amplified.
