Starting with the timeless Bollywood classic released in 2001, Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham remains a favorite among fans. This iconic family drama featured a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor. As the film celebrates its 23rd anniversary today, KJo shared behind-the-scenes moments from the sets, including some unforgettable shots of Kareena’s transformation.

On the 14th of December, Karan Johar hopped on Instagram to post some must-see behind-the-scenes snapshots from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The initial snap displays Karan guiding the movie with a coffee mug in hand. A separate montage showcases Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, both grinning and posing side by side.

Adding a twist to the story, there's also a striking shot featuring all the main actors, alongside a heartening image of Big B and Jaya Bachchan. Fans get a glimpse of some iconic moments of Kareena Kapoor as Poo, including one where she's dazzling in a red dress posing with Hrithik Roshan and another where she's clad in a traditional salwar suit with Hrithik Roshan in a kurta. These contrasting pictures are bound to touch hearts.

Along with the pics, Karan penned,"23 years!!! Phew...truly one of those pinch me moments - right now & even back then...being on set with these legends!! It was my second film as a director and I think I was immensely fortunate that this magnanimous cast and the entire crew put in so much faith in me to deliver khushi & gham in abundance!
