Karan is far more mature than Naitik:Karan Mehra

Karan Mehra who is seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has been playing a pivotal role as Naitik for couple of years now. However, the journey of his character that he has been portraying has been quite eventful as he has seen many things unfolding in his personal life as well. He married model turned actress Nisha Rawal and both of them as a jodi were a big hit on Nach Baliye 5. 

In candid conversation with TellyBuzz, Karan shared about his experience of playing Naitik and also of being a doting husband.

Shares Karan, "I am super happy and enjoyed the way we performed in Nach Baliye 5... it was a great experience for us and the show meant a lot for us. At present as Nach has ended I am planning for our vacation and our pending honeymoon. It is going to be a Europe trip for us."

Currently busy shooting for Yeh Rishta... Karan says, "It takes away a lot of my time. I am very happy with the way my role is and personally I like essaying this role as it has lots for me to perform as an actor when it comes to acting. Sometimes people do ask me whether my role is getting stereotyped, but I feel that there are various shades to portray which are very similar and very different at the same time." 

He further went on to say, "Naitik is a little immature while I am more like a matured, loveable and romantic guy. I understand things and have a balanced nature. Whether I am a romantic or not is something you can ask my wife Nisha. However, yes, I and Naitik are similar as we hold our core family values close to heart."

Talking about his future plans Karana says that, "As of now I am happy doing Yeh Ristha... and if I get an opportunity I would love to participate in a reality show."
