Kapil has raised the bar of comedy to a different level: Vipul Shah

After tickling the funny bones of the audience with some of the popular shows on television like Comedy Classes, Comedy Circus, Comedy Nights Bachao and many more, producer Vipul Shah is now all set to add more humor in the day to day lives of the audience with his upcoming show on SAB TV, Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle.

Talking about the show, producer Vipul Shah told us, "The channel wanted us to come up with a Rom Com and the genre of Romance certainly needs a girl and a boy and we thought why not we should add one more guy in it and both the guys will like the same girl. This will certainly add more humor to the show. We pitched the idea to the channel with proper characterization and they loved it. Humor based on a medical backdrop hasn't been done from quite a long time so we gave a medical setup to the storyline. It's a very interesting setup and its supporting us in many ways. The cast is brilliant; Krishna (Krishna Gokani), Ather (Ather Habib, a fresh face for comedy) and Ali (Ali Asgar, a seasoned artist); it's a perfect balance."  

Having entertained the audience with comedy shows, now producer Vipul Shah is all set for his upcoming serious drama - Krishnadasi. He further adds, "We always try our best to create content which audience can connect themselves to and entertain them. We have been more inclined towards comedy but now we are coming up with serious drama Krishnadasi which is going to be a hardcore drama with good casting and good shooting locations."

Ever since the news of Vipul Shah's upcoming show which is tentatively titled as Comedy Nights With Krushna has been started doing rounds in the media, there have been a lot of chaos witnessed among the audience who have started comparing the show with Comedy Nights with Kapil. When we asked Vipul Shah about it, he said, "Kapil has done a fantastic job so there is no point in putting our legs in his shoes. He has raised the bar of comedy to a different level. Ours is going to be a new concept with new cast. Even when Comedy Nights Bachao came, we came across a lot of bashing and that's a power of anybody's fan base. Kapil has a lovely fan base and we respect that. Trying to do something which has already been done is not a right thing. Kapil has done an excellent job in his area and we are focusing on the thing in which we are good at and which is our strength."
