Kapil Dev, Urmila and Satish Kaushik grace SRGMP Challenge 2009..

This week, eminent cricketer Kapil Dev, vivacious actress Urmila Matondkar and director comedian Satish Kaushik grace the sets of Zee’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009.

Kapil Dev, who is the brand ambassador and chairman of the Indian Cricket League, was present with the entire ICL team including Rohan Gavaskar and Deep Das Gupta of the Royal Bengal Tigers, Imran Farhat of the Lahore Badshah, Reetender Sodhi of Ahmedebad Rockets, R. Satish from Chennai Superstars and Ali Murtaza from the Delhi Giants. The cricketers enjoyed every moment of being on the stage, as they danced to the tune of Ji Karda Bhai Ji Karda from the movie Singh is King. The Sa Re Ga Ma Pa team also felicitated Kapil Dev with a memento to celebrate his successful completion of 25 years in the cricket world. The judges handed him the memento. As a token of his appreciation, Kapil Dev and his ICL players gifted autographed bats to the participants.

Saturday’s episode has mentor Himmesh Reshammiya boogieing on the stage with the sizzling hot Urmila Matondkar and director Satich Kaushik. The duo was present to promote their upcoming movie Karzzzzz. Urmila terms herself as an ‘accidental’ singer but was quite excited at the prospect of judging the singers. She took into consideration the expressions, attitude and appearance. Satish on the other hand, just relaxed and enjoyed the music.

Talking about Karzzzzz and how can we forget our very own Monty aka Himmesh. The mentor was present on the show playing the dual role of the judge as well as the celebrity guest for his movie. He wooed the audience with his latest hit, Tandoori nites, and shared candid moments while he was shooting for the movie.
