Kanika Kapoor's Latest Medical Report: Much Better, Discharge Soon

A lot of hullabaloo since th past few days have been about how singer Kanika Kapoor became one of the first Indian celebrities to be contracted with coronavirus.

The singer was in for immense backlash constantly owing to apparently being very careless about following protocol after her return trip to India from London and later attending a party too.

Nevertheless, ever since being diagnosed with Covid19, she has been under quarantine at the hospital ever since. And now, here is the latest medical development pertaining her.

In an interview with SpotboyE, Hospital's Director, Dr R K Dhiman went on to offer an update on her health as he said she's feeling much better now. He further added,  "She will be discharged soon, it will take about a week more I think. We have a protocol of keeping the patient in such a case for 2 to 3 weeks. We never discharge any patient pre-maturely.

The process is to test the coronavirus patient after 14 days and see if he/she is testing negative. If the test is negative, another test is carried out in 24-48 hours and that too should come negative."

Dr. Dhiman further confirmed that reports about her deteriorating health are false.
