Kamya Punjabi blamed for starting the narrative of Pratyusha Banerjee’s murder by ex-boyfriend, Rahul

Balika Vadhu fame Pratyusha Banerjee was discovered deceased at her Mumbai home 9 years ago and now her ex-boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh, has made some startling revelations. In a recent interview, Rahul discussed Banerjee's purported suicide and clarified the accusations of her murder against him. He alleged that Kamya Punjabi initiated the narrative of Pratyusha's murder, which was later propagated by Vikas Gupta and Rakhi Sawant.

Kamya Punjabi and Vikas Gupta also jumped in. They said that Rahul had murdered Pratyusha. That’s what I saw in their media interviews. They claimed that Pratyusha had no financial burden, she wasn’t out of work. Vikas Gupta did not offer work to Pratyusha ever but made such statements

Rahul went on to claim that Kamya had taken Rs 2.5 lakh from Pratyusha and never gave it back. "I didn't know Kamya. Pratyusha introduced me to her at a party once. Kamya was completely high. Pratyusha had lent some money to Kamya, around Rs 2 - Rs 2.5 lakh, and asked Kamya to return it. Kamya replied that she had no work and promised to repay it later," he stated.

“They used to drink a lot. I always wanted Pratyusha to stop drinking. Her friends used to party a lot. She knew that I was asking her to stop drinking for her benefit and therefore, she stopped going to such parties. That’s why I became a villain for them. They thought I was taking away Pratyusha from them. Kamya used to party a lot, everyone knows," he added further.

For those unaware, Pratyusha Banerjee gained fame for her portrayal of Anandi in the well-known series Balika Vadhu. Tragically, she passed away on April 1, 2016, reportedly due to suicide. Subsequent to her demise, her parents lodged a complaint against Rahul Singh.
