Just In: Sonam Kapoor Shines as India Ka Lucky Charm in The Zoya Factor!

Ever since Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan starrer 'The Zoya Factor' went on floors, fans have been eagerly waiting to witness further development on the project. 

The film revolves around a young and successful advertising executive, Zoya (played by Sonam) who becomes the good luck charm for India's cricket team during the World Cup. The romantic drama is based on the book by Anuja Chauhan of the same title. 

Putting an end to the long wait, the makers of the film have dropped the very first motion poster which features Sonam in a goddess avatar!

Just a few minutes back, Sonam took to her social media to share the video and wrote, “Who needs Nimbu Mirchi, when you have Zoya Solanki! India’s lucky charm is here to turn tables around for you. The intriguing video features Sonam dressed as a Devi, but with a twist! She is wearing sneakers beneath the saree and holds a cricket bat and helmet in each of her hands.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film stars Dulquer Salmaan as the captain of the Indian Cricket Team, who will also play Sonam’s love interest. It also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Sikander Kher, Angad Bedi in pivotal roles.

The release date of the film was pushed twice due to the 2019 Cricket World Cup. But, it is finally scheduled to be theatrically released in India on 20 September 2019. Looks like India has found it’s Lucky Charm in Zoya Solanki (Sonam Kapoor)!
