I am a Reporter and day and day out its my job to bring you the latest news happening in the telly world. What's interesting is that I now have something to watch that I can relate with as my profession seems to be trending on television!

Reporters on Sony TV

Ananya (Kritika Kamra) is an aspiring journalist who wanted to work with Kabir (Rajeev Khandelwal) who is her idol. The show is pretty accurately focusing on the struggle of reporters and how a news channel works. And to add in a little bit of masala on the show, the makers have introducer the love quotient. Who wouldn't want to find their love while enjoying their work?

Doli Armanon Ki on Zee TV

Neha Sargam will soon enter the show as a press reporter and will be working in Shurya aka Kunal Karan Kapoor's press. How the show portrays the role of a journalist is yet to be seen but we are sure that these two will make a lovely pair!

Code Red on Colors

Yash Sinha essays the role of Kabir who is a crime based reporter. Code Red shows the power a journalist has with his contacts and experience to help find the truth and eradicate crime.

Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma on SAB TV

When you talk about journalists on television, one of the first names that one remembers is Patrakar Popatlal (Shyam Pathak). Popatlal is seen as a character who is extremely proud of his profession. Along with him there is Rita reporter as well who works for a news channel and is usually seen covering the events happening in Gokuldham society.

Varsha's daughter Ananya works for a fashion magazine in the show. It has been shown that due being a reporter, she has to work at wee hours. Yes there are no hours in a reporter's life and no Sundays at times too. But we love our job don't we?

Interesting trend. First time I saw a TV actor play Journalist was during 2012 in NBTNMKK. Fantastic show. Kunal Karan Kapoor played a rustic, carefree daring journo to the hilt. His performance was awesome!
Now he is back as editor in chief in Doli Armaano Ki as Shaurya Sinha and as far as his acting goes, As I expected from an actor of his calibre, Absolutely No Complaints. His acting is superb. Again. Whatever Show makers want him to do, he does it with precision.
DAK too has a new story line, Bahot Hat-ke! I'm watching the show regularly and liking it very much.
