John Abraham’s Mumbai Saga screening stormed by wild crowd of film lovers; Watch video

The advent of Coronavirus led to a massive setback for the film industry. Bollywood not only lost business due to the halt of much-anticipated films, but even the fans have been eager to watch these films in theatres. 

John Abraham’s recently released film - Mumbai Saga has seen a massive spike in the box-office numbers over the weekend. The audience is slowly reaching out to their nearest cinema halls which have kept the registers rolling. While several films are gradually making it to the theatres for their release, fans are crowing outside the cinema halls amid the coronavirus scare. 

On Sunday, a video featuring a large crowd of film lovers assembling outside a movie theatre went viral on social media. This has flagged concerns across the nation as Maharashtra has recently seen an unprecedented rise in coronavirus cases. The video showed a wild crowd of people jumping fences to enter a cinema hall in Malegaon, near Nashik in Maharashtra.

The film was released this Friday in theatres across the country. It is one of the first big films to get a theatrical release after the Information and Broadcasting Ministry's directive to allow cinema halls to operate at 100% capacity.
