Coming in as a shock, actor John Abraham has reportedly walked out of comedy entertainer and Sajid Khan's comeback directorial, 100%. The actor recently enjoyed immense success and huge critical acclaim for his bad-guy role in the mega blockbuster film, Pathaan. A few reports suggest that post his popularity as Jim in Pathaan, Abraham wants to focus on action-packed roles and doesn't want to venture into comedy as of now.
The report in a leading portal also mentioned that Abraham has not only quit 100% but is also not keen on taking up Awara Pagal Deewana 2. Apparently, there have been talks about a possible spin-off movie for John Abraham as Jim from Pathaan but there hasn't been confirmation on the same yet.
Sajid Khan's comeback directorial, 100% starred Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Nora Fatehi and Shehnaaz Gill. With Abraham out of the equation now, the film will need to find yet another 'big name' to get back on track.
On his front otherwise, Abraham will be seen in action entertainer Tehran, co-starring Manushi Chhilar. He also has a geo political thriller with Bhushan Kumar in the pipeline.
Talking about Pathaan, the film saw Abraham reuniting with Yash Raj Films, the makers of Dhoom. Dhoom, over 19 years ago witnessed a huge splurge and made Abraham a sensation. Speaking about his collaboration with Aditya Chopra, John had said, “So, when he (Aditya Chopra) says John trust me and do this, it will work for you, I believe what he says because he means it and I have done Dhoom with him which was a career defining film in my life.”
