Jhansi Ki Rani and her look-alike join hands..

Zee TV and Contiloe Telefilms' Jhansi Ki Rani will see the return of the look-alike of Rani Lakshmi Bai (Kratika Sengar) in the final leg of the battle now. New face, Ishita Vyas plays the role of Jhalkari Bai, who resembles Rani in her looks, especially the eyes. This is again a historical character and there is nothing fictional about this track.

Our source states, "Ishita Vyas' character will remain till the end of the battle. She will help Rani escape from the mahal by fooling the British who are out to murder her. Her strength is that she bears a close resemblance with the Queen. Since she distracts the British, Lakshmi Bai actually gets the chance to flee from the palace. Had it not been for Jhalkari, Rani would have been captivated by the British right in her palace".

We hear that Ishita Vyas was actually under a contract of Zee TV for their other upcoming historical show Jai Somnath. But after noticing her similarity in feature and look to Kratika Sengar, the girl was quickly moved from Jai Somnath to Jhansi Ki Rani.
