Jhanak's Krushal Ahuja reacts on show taking a leap: 'The way story is..'

Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja's Jhanak has been a popular show on Star Plus ever since its release. While the ardent viewers of the show rave about the chemistry between Hiba and Krushal, reports of the show taking a leap and Jhanak-Aniruddh going separate ways has left them mighty disappointed.

Well, India Forums got in touch with Krushal Ahuja, the actor who essays the titular character of Aniruddh in the show. We asked Krushal what exactly was the truth behind these stories and the actor denied these rumours stating that a leap may not happen 'any time soon.' Speaking to India Forums exclusively, Krushal says, ''We have not been informed about anything of this sort yet. There has been no official announcement about this to us by the production. The way the story is proceeding currently, I do not think that this leap may happen any time soon.''

For the uninformed, there had been reports about the show taking a 5 year leap, post which, Aniruddh and Jhanak would part ways. While Hiba and Krushal have been essaying the titular characters on the show, Chandni Sharma essays the negative female lead on Jhanak.

The show started off well on the TRP charts however, it has been witnessing a dip in the TRPs for the past few weeks now and is currently out of the top 5 race.
