Jhanak: Jhanak tells Arshi she’s caring for her only because of Aniruddha

Tonight's Jhanak episode opens with Rimi asking Choton to buy her a new outfit for his wedding. Meanwhile, Bipasha informs everyone that Arshi is unwell and won't be able to attend the ceremony. Choton, however, insists that Arshi should at least come for a short while, but she refuses, saying she doesn't want to take any risks. Anjana decides to stay back with Arshi. At that moment, Aniruddha arrives.

Choton then asks Aniruddha for his guest list. Rimi questions whether Aniruddha will attend the wedding without Arshi. Arshi reassures them that Jhanak will take care of her. Anjana, surprised, inquires if Jhanak won't be at the wedding either. Bipasha sarcastically remarks on Anjana's concern for Jhanak. Mimi suggests that Bipasha should stay with Arshi, but Bipasha reminds her that Jhanak is Arshi's caretaker and has committed to looking after her. Just then, Jhanak enters.

Meanwhile, Anuradha stops Jimli, asking where she is headed. Jimli states that she doesn't want her share of the money and intends to complete her studies and find a job. Anuradha expresses that people from Basti aren't bad, but Anindo thinks otherwise, which makes him a flawed person. As Jimli departs, Anuradha hopes that everything will be resolved soon.

Choton declares that Jhanak is his guest, and if she doesn't attend the wedding, the ceremony won't take place. Aniruddha assures Choton that he will attend for a brief period. Arshi expresses her discomfort about being left alone, but Aniruddha suggests that they both go to the wedding. Choton is firm that both Aniruddha and Jhanak must attend. He urges Arshi to come along. Arshi then points out that Jhanak is experienced in childcare. Jhanak reassures Arshi that she will take care of her. Choton directly asks Jhanak if she won't attend his wedding. He asserts that since it's his big day, he gets to make the decisions. He even suggests that if Arshi refuses to come, Srishti can take over her care.

At the hospital, Kajol tells Lalon that Apu must be hungry. Lalon notices Kajol's deep affection for Apu, to which she responds that Apu has shaped her into this person. Lalon curiously asks if she has any plans for marriage. Kajol dismisses the topic. Lalon acknowledges that he knows she had feelings for him but clarifies that he never saw her in that light. Kajol assures him that it's okay.

Meanwhile, Apu expresses her desire to see Lalon. The doctor advises her to act as if Lalon isn't there. Apu, emotional, calls out for Lalon while the doctor tries to calm her. Kajol tells Lalon that Apu seems to be learning how to control her emotions. When they enter Apu's room, she is about to embrace Lalon but holds herself back. Overcome with emotions, she breaks down, but the doctor intervenes. Determined, Apu decides to walk on her own and leaves the room, followed by Kajol. The doctor advises Lalon that Apu needs to develop confidence and shouldn't be dependent on him. Lalon acknowledges the advice.

Meanwhile, Jimli meets Anindo and hands him the money. She suggests that it should be used for the wedding. Anindo questions why they should spend that money on the marriage. Jimli admits that she already feels guilty for stealing it. Anindo reminds her that he never asked her to do so. She tells him to keep the money, revealing that it's fifty lakhs and that she can't return home. Anindo then announces that they will get married immediately. He reassures her that everything will work out and mentions that Lalon might go to the police. Jimli insists that she will reveal the truth to Anuradha after the wedding.

Back at Choton's house, tensions rise. Arshi declares that humanity no longer exists. Choton retorts that she shouldn't forget how she snatched Aniruddha away from Jhanak. Aniruddha tries to intervene, but Choton refuses to back down. He asserts that Jhanak is not Arshi's possession. Arshi counters by stating that Jhanak is her younger sister, which gives her the authority to make decisions on her behalf. Choton strongly disagrees, stating that Arshi has no right to control Jhanak's life. Jhanak firmly supports Choton, asserting that no one has the right to make choices for her. She states that she will attend the wedding if she wishes to and that she is taking care of Arshi out of gratitude towards Aniruddha.
