Jhanak: Jhanak takes the responsibility of Arshi and her unborn child

Tonight's Jhanak episode begins with Apu feeling delighted upon seeing Jhanak. She curiously asks whether Jhanak is engaged in household chores like a maid. Jhanak calmly responds, saying this is her home, and she has no issues doing the work. Apu points out that Bipasha never participates in any chores. Hearing this, Bipasha sternly warns Apu against dragging her into the discussion. Jhanak, however, asserts that she doesn't mind working.

Bipasha taunts Jhanak, saying that some people are destined to earn their meals through hard work, and she isn't concerned about it. Unbothered, Jhanak states that Bipasha's opinions hold no significance for her.

Just then, Shubhankar arrives and checks on Apu's well-being. Apu questions if Shubhankar has changed, especially since he needs to repay Lalon. Shubhankar reassures her that he truly has changed, but Apu remains sceptical. Lalon advises Apu to let it go. Apu then informs Jhanak that she is recovering well, according to the doctor, and expresses her desire to resume her studies once she is fully healed. Bipasha mocks Apu for dreaming big.

Lalon, however, reminds Bipasha that she is standing in his house and should not overstep. Meanwhile, Aniruddha enters the scene. Apu directly asks him whether Arshi is mistreating Jhanak, but Jhanak stops Apu from making such comments.

Aniruddha turns to Lalon and asks about Apu's health update from the doctor. Apu, however, remarks that Aniruddha is only focused on Arshi's well-being. Just then, Arshi appears and instructs Jhanak to serve her food instead of indulging in conversations. Jhanak assures Arshi that she will receive her meal on time. Apu, displeased with Arshi's tone, scolds her for treating Jhanak this way, but Jhanak requests Apu not to intervene.

Arshi then questions Aniruddha about why he hasn't left for work yet. He replies that he hasn't had breakfast. Jhanak informs Anjana that the meal is ready. However, Arshi insists that Jhanak should have prepared food exclusively for her. Bipasha adds fuel to the fire, suggesting that Jhanak wants to display her cooking skills to impress Aniruddha.

Lalon asks if Jhanak is responsible for all the household chores. Jhanak clarifies that she is simply taking care of Arshi and nothing more. Aniruddha, however, questions why Jhanak is being treated like a maid when she is actually Arshi's sister. Jhanak insists that she is doing everything by choice and asks him not to interfere. Aniruddha refuses to remain silent in the face of injustice. Anjana agrees with him, stating that Jhanak is a guest and should not be treated unfairly.

Lalon then informs Jhanak that they will soon be moving to a new flat, where she will have her own room. Jhanak expresses her happiness upon hearing this. Lalon reassures her of his unwavering support. Apu tells Jhanak to come to her if anyone causes trouble and reminds her that she will need Jhanak's help in getting ready for Choton's wedding.

As Jhanak turns, she accidentally bumps into Aniruddha, who instinctively holds her hand. Arshi, seeing this, angrily scolds Jhanak for standing there. However, Jhanak calmly advises Arshi to avoid stress in her condition. She clarifies that she genuinely cares for Arshi's baby and also wants Arshi's well-being. She further reveals that she is doing all of this out of gratitude towards Aniruddha, who has saved her life multiple times. It is her responsibility to take care of Arshi and her unborn child.

Aniruddha, hearing this, wonders when Jhanak will finally understand his emotions. He decides not to defend himself. Arshi, pleased with Aniruddha's concern, asks if he is getting late for work. Before leaving, Aniruddha tells Arshi to take rest. Seeing this, Arshi feels reassured that Aniruddha truly cares for her. Meanwhile, Jhanak silently reflects on how distant she has become from Aniruddha.

Elsewhere, Prachi anxiously asks Vihaan if he has found any news about Jhanak. Vihaan, however, says he has no updates. Prachi shares her growing concern for Jhanak's well-being, hoping she is safe. Sejal, on the other hand, dismisses Prachi's worries, prompting Vihaan to question why Sejal has such a problem with Jhanak.

Feeling offended, Sejal calls out to Ketki, asking her to notice how Vihaan is speaking to her. She warns Vihaan not to forget their bond. Vihaan responds sarcastically. Ketki then chimes in, criticizing Vihaan for damaging their family's reputation by bringing Jhanak into their lives. Vihaan argues that he brought Jhanak for Ahaan's sake. He also points out that even Ketki has failed to handle Ahaan properly.

Ketki counters, saying Vihaan could have chosen someone else instead of Jhanak. Prachi defends Jhanak, insisting that she has done nothing wrong to them.

Meanwhile, Srishti arrives at the Bose house and asks about Jhanak's whereabouts. Inside, Jhanak serves soup to Arshi. Srishti immediately questions whether Jhanak is back to doing kitchen chores. Arshi steps in, stating that Jhanak is simply looking after her. Srishti disapproves, questioning why Jhanak has become Arshi's caretaker. Jhanak assures Srishti that she doesn't need to worry about her, as she is fine where she is and has no plans to return to Srishti's house.

Arshi then accuses Srishti of betraying both her and Vinayak, declaring that she will never forgive her. Meanwhile, Sejal speaks ill of Jhanak, calling her manipulative. Vihaan immediately shuts her down, warning her not to speak against Jhanak. He asserts that Jhanak has only ever done good for them.

Ketki, however, orders Vihaan to stop communicating with Jhanak. Meanwhile, Srishti boldly states that she has no shame in admitting that Jhanak is her daughter. She tells Arshi that she has taken care of her well and now wishes to take responsibility for Jhanak. Jhanak, however, refuses to accept Srishti's affection.
