Jhanak: Aniruddha accidentally applies haldi on Jhanak

Tonight's Jhanak episode begins with Mimi expressing her happiness about Choton's upcoming wedding, as she plans to leave the house soon. Choton reassures her, saying that even after his marriage, this will always be her home, so she shouldn't feel that way. Emotional, Mimi hugs him.

Meanwhile, Arundati reminds Choton that the haldi ceremony must start at the auspicious time, urging him to join. As Choton calls for Jhanak, Bipasha intervenes, stating that Jhanak has no role in the ceremony since she isn't a married woman. Arshi taunts that Jhanak seems eager to act like a married woman today, even though her so-called marriage wasn't real. Arundati firmly tells Jhanak to stay away from the rituals, claiming that her presence might bring bad luck to Choton. When Aniruddha questions Arundati's statement, she insists that Jhanak is unfortunate, citing the various misfortunes she has faced as proof. However, Choton remains steadfast in his decision, making it clear that he wants Jhanak to be part of his wedding celebrations.

On the other hand, Jimli questions Anindo about why they aren't getting married in a temple. Anindo, visibly annoyed, scolds her for revealing too much to Anuradha. She points out that there isn't even a priest present. Anindo dismisses her concerns, saying they will marry in front of his friends. Jimli, feeling uneasy, confesses that she isn't getting the real essence of a wedding. Anindo assures her that they will have another proper ceremony later with his parents' approval. Meanwhile, Anindo's friends discuss the wedding night among themselves, making Jimli uncomfortable.

When Jimli protests, Anindo urges her to focus on getting married first. As a joke, one of Anindo's friends suggests playing wedding chants on a speaker. However, Jimli outright refuses to proceed in such a casual manner. Frustrated, Anindo remarks that it's not like he begged her to marry him, leaving Jimli hurt. She confronts him about his changed attitude, but instead of responding, Anindo suddenly applies sindoor on her forehead, formalising their marriage. His friends celebrate, suggesting they eat together, but Jimli complains that they should have gotten food from a good restaurant.

Anindo encourages her to try the food, mentioning that he didn't want to waste her money. Jimli, unimpressed, states that she eats better meals in her basti. Angered by her remark, Anindo sarcastically suggests she should go back there. Upset, Jimli storms off. Meanwhile, Anindo's friend expresses concern that Jimli might take the money and leave. Anindo, however, confidently states that he has control over the situation since there's no proof of her financial contribution. His friend advises him to pacify Jimli, so Anindo approaches her, urging her to stay happy on their wedding day instead of arguing. Jimli, still doubtful, questions whether he will betray her. Anindo reassures her, asking why she even has such thoughts.

Back at the haldi ceremony, Jhanak remains unaffected by Arundati's harsh words, asserting that she knows she isn't unlucky. Tanuja expresses curiosity about why Jhanak didn't marry Vihaan. In response, Jhanak states that she considers her marriage with Aniruddha, performed before God, to be valid and meaningful to her. She clarifies to Arshi that she has no expectations from that relationship. As the haldi celebrations continue, Jhanak expresses her excitement, mentioning that weddings bring joy. Apu comments that if Lalon were present, he would have taught a lesson to those questioning Jhanak. Jhanak then enthusiastically suggests they dance. Observing everything, Vihaan expresses his confusion over how Aniruddha could reject Jhanak. Aniruddha immediately tells him to stop bringing up the past. Vihaan replies that he will leave after Choton's wedding. Meanwhile, Jhanak joins the others and starts dancing.

Elsewhere, Jimli gets frustrated upon seeing Anindo's friends drinking. She warns Anindo not to drink, and he reassures her that he won't. To please her, he asks his friends to leave, explaining that he has to meet his parents the next day. However, his friend hints that Anindo is in a hurry for a specific reason. Once the friends leave, Anindo and Jimli are left alone.

Meanwhile, Srishti tells Arshi that Jhanak is carrying a lot of pain in her heart. Arshi, however, counters that Srishti has no right to speak as she never truly cared about Jhanak. She further states that Jhanak doesn't even want to see Srishti's face. Srishti admits her past mistakes, accepting that she wronged Jhanak. Meanwhile, Jhanak joyfully participates in the ceremony, applying haldi to others and dancing. Arshi, irritated, tells her to stop, sarcastically remarking that everyone already knows how well Jhanak dances. Jhanak retorts that Arshi comes from a legacy of dancers. Arundati intervenes, stating that they should focus on completing the ritual.

Srishti approaches Jhanak, who directly asks what more she expects from her. Jhanak then bitterly remarks that every time Srishti calls her 'daughter,' it reminds her of Urvashi. As the ceremony continues, Aniruddha applies haldi to Choton, but in an unexpected moment, he accidentally bumps into Jhanak, shocking everyone.

Arshi reacts immediately, stating that such an incident was inevitable. Aniruddha, however, clarifies that it was purely accidental. Arshi argues that regardless of what happened, it changes nothing since she is his wife. In response, Aniruddha calls it destiny's game and redirects the focus to Choton's wedding, urging everyone to enjoy the festivities. He then invites Vihaan to join him for a dance, and they celebrate together.

Bipasha taunts Jhanak, questioning whether she won't dance now. Jhanak calmly replies that she will dance when she wishes to. The episode concludes.
