According to the divorce settlement, Jennifer Lopez will revert to her maiden name, "Lopez," after having briefly adopted "Affleck" following their wedding. Both Lopez and Affleck will retain the earnings they individually acquired during their marriage, with neither party required to pay spousal support.

The filing, submitted by Lopez on August 20, 2024, marks the official end of a relationship that had faced mounting speculation. Lopez cited April 26, 2024, as the date of separation. Rumors of a split intensified when Lopez appeared solo at the 2024 Met Gala and various promotional events.
