Jay Bhanushali-Mahhi Vij’s Nine Years of Journey, Told in Nine Pictures!

Actor Jay Bhanushali and his beautiful wife Mahhi Vij are one of the most adorable couples in tellytown. The couple, who recently welcomed a baby girl completed nine years of blissful marriage.

First Meeting

Both Jay and Mahhi are actors but they never worked together before getting married. So, how did they meet? The answer is here! Jay saw Mahhi for the first time at a card party thrown by their mutual friend. He was attracted towards her, though they didn’t talk at the first meet. Then again, they met at a club after which, Jay started chasing her and finally the two fell in love. 

Secret Marriage

The couple tied the knot in November 2011 but kept it a secret from the industry for a long time. The news of their secret marriage broke when Mahhi along with Jay arrived at Vikas Kalantri’s Sangeet Ceremony sporting a ‘Mangalsutra’.

Nach Baliye 5

It was Nach Baliye where the couple shared the screen for the first time. The couple participated in the ninth season of Nach Baliye and stunned everyone with their amazing dance moves. The couple, who won the season had a court marriage and so, in one of the episodes, Jay promised Mahhi a proper traditional Hindu wedding on their 25th anniversary.

Wedding Vows

In 2014, Mahhi announced their second wedding a day before the couple exchanged vows in a fairytale white wedding at a church in Las Vegas.

Fear Factor

In 2015, they again participated in a reality but this time it was about adventure and daredevil stunts in Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi. The couple participated together and soon, rumours about their ugly fight started doing the rounds. However, the couple had put all the rumours to rest by celebrating Valentine’s day at a yacht in Argentina.

Adoption

In 2017, the couple adopted their caretaker’s children and fund their education. They also make sure that they spend enough time with both of them. Before adopting, the couple knew the caretaker for almost fifteen years and is like their family member. So, the children have been visiting Jay-Mahhi’s place and ultimately they got attached to the kids and decided to give them the best in their capabilities.

Baby Announcement

In May, the couple announced the joyous news about Mahhi's pregnancy in a cute post. "9 months of pain, but a lifetime of gain. 9 months of sickness, but a lifetime of happiness. 9 months of pregnancy, the beginning of our legacy. Thank you @mahhivij announcing our 1st production together COMING SOON 2019." they wrote on Instagram.

Welcomed Their Daughter

The couple was blessed with a baby girl on 21st August 2019. Sharing the news on social media, Jay wrote, “The future just arrived, a brand new baby here to play. Ten little fingers ten little toes, mommy's eyes and daddy's nose... Thank you, princess, for choosing us as your parents ITS A GIRL.”
